With over 26 years of experience, Stephen has filed thousands of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions on behalf of his clients in Ohio and Michigan. Stephen’s vast knowledge of bankruptcy law gives him the expertise to handle the most complex cases, allowing him to guide his clients successfully through the bankruptcy process. Stephen’s goal is to make sure his clients come out on the other side of bankruptcy in the best financial situation that’s possible.

Stephen also practices in the areas of Domestic Relations and Juvenile law, and has helped hundreds of clients navigate difficult custody and divorce situations.

Stephen’s expertise in these areas is locally recognized as he has been asked many times to be a speaker at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars on issues related to bankruptcy and divorce law.

Stephen was born in Detroit, MI, but has spent most of his life in Toledo, OH. He graduated from The University of Toledo with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and in 1991 he earned his J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law. Stephen passed the bar in 1992 and immediately started his own law practice. He was admitted to practice in Federal Court in Ohio in 1993, and in both Michigan Federal districts in 2008.

Stephen has been married for over twenty years and has three children.
